October/November Menu

Weekday Bistro has been closed most of October because I have been on a sabbatical. I took a short educational trip to Paris. I learned new techniques, flavor pairings and ways to prepare fresh food that I plan on using in upcoming menus. One of my new French finds is a Fougass. This is a cross between a foccacia bread and a calazone. It is a light bread that is folded over and filled with red onion, olives and cheese and topped with olives, tomato and bacon.

French Fougass

Paired with soup and salad, it makes the perfect dinner. Look for it on the menu for November.

Let Weekday Bistro bring a little bit of France into your home this month. Just find the menu and day you would like to order and email or call me at Kimdonahue@weekdaybistro.com or 714-307-9453. Remember to place your order at least 24 hours in advance. Bon Appetit!

This month, Weekday Bistro is holding a food drive to help keep the shelves full at the Families Forward Food Pantry.

You can help feed other hungry families when you order a meal this month and donate a minimum of 4 canned food items for our Families Forward Food Drive. We’ll take 10% off of your total as a thank you for helping out in our community.
